Back to the Univ. of SP

Back to SP... The last visit before Thanksgiving. Things are going well there. The schools are really adopting the school mentor model as depicted by CREATE for Mississippi. You should see the Student Techno Teams in action. It is a real sight to behold...

Winston County Tour

Traveling to Louisville, Noxapater and Nanih Waiya today... They have been having network connectivty issues relative to their wireless laptops. WEP encryption seems to be at the root of it, but we will see. I hope WPA will be better when it is fully accepted by all vendors.

South Panola Visit

Packing for South Panola...another visit. They are really making things happen in the classroom relative to tech infusion of the curriculum. Just finished the install of Movable Type on a Win2k server. Pretty painless... I like it b/c it is stronger administratively for multiple, private blogs.

Fall Workshop

Big day today!!! All the Core Teachers and Educational Technologists are coming to MSU for a CREATE for Mississippi Core Teacher Fall Workshop. It ought to be fun. Some of the topics include Webquests, Blogging, and Web site Development using FrontPage XP and HTML 101. The focus of this workshop is on technology integration skills as opposed to technology proficiency skills.

A new approach... for today

I am back in Starkville today working on the creation of a multiblog application written in PHP and mySQL. It is a bit of a learning curve but with the help of the manual at mysql.com, I think I can do it.

BIOS Config

Working through some BIOS settings for my friend who is building an AMD 2600+ Barton with the AMD A78N Deluxe MOBO with PC3200 DDR RAM. One would think that these things would be laid out a tad easier... But, I did find a possible solution.

A redo

A revamp of my site was in order. So, I am trying a couple of new things to see how things work. Most of the pictures that you will see on the site are of the people closest to me, so don't expect to see a pic of me anytime soon. However, check out my resume or links to learn more about me.
